We love eating out. Last night we found this magnificent restaurant which friends told us about. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with great dishes and an efficient stuff and an impressive cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely go again very soon. We warmly recommend.

Consistent and outstanding food/presentation and staff. Cozy atmosphere, a diverse menu & wonderful wines. Perfect date night or a weekly staple.

Attended a 6-course dinner here with wine pairings. Absolutely amazing. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. The owner served as the host for the dinner and spoke to each table. His passion for Greek wines makes the experience exciting. Will be back soon.

Good food. Friendly staff. Some of the better gluten free pancakes that I have eaten. It is a bit pricey for diner food, but not too bad.

The food at Avli is always delicious, and especially with a bottle of Greek wine. Oops, I'm on a diet and was only going to eat half of my meal. But the Lake Superior Whitefish was beautifully prepared, so fresh I couldn't help myself.

The food was AMAZING. Had the lamb salad and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and even brought out some oranges for my baby son to enjoy. Came all the way from Texas to try some amazing food in and around Chicago and this was our favorite, stand-out restaurant by far.

Hopa! We had a rare date night without the kids and a friend insisted we come here. She was very right. We did the tasting menu and it was well worth it. There was nothing that was not delicious and the drink pairing was worth the splurge. They service was top notch too. Will need to come back for lunch with the kids

Greek food with a little extra pizzazz! Wonderful seafood and Lake Superior White Fish! Delicious twists on classic dishes. Good wine list and fine whiskeys and liquors. Outdoor seating in season. Excellent service. A worthy stop!

The food and service here is amazing. We had our baby shower and hosted a couple birthday parties here and they do an awesome job. On an average night, the restaurant is great, but if you want to host an event, they will blow you away. Get the orzo!

The food was spectacular. We had some of the small plates. Artichokes, beets, fritata, and especially the octopus was some of the best I've ever had. And the rice pudding, dessert bites, as well as the coffee was out some of the best I've tasted. Avli is a place to go for breakfast, a fantastic lunch, can't wait to try it for dinner. You will not be disappointed This is now a favourite of mine

This is by far my favorite lunch spot in Winnetka. The food is outstanding. Fresh and authentically prepared. The service is impeccable. Friendly and prompt. Your o ly issue might be parking. Worst case, park around the block on the 4 Hour spaces. Enjoy!

Amazing food. I was not disappointed. I would go here again. The lamb burger with the spicy feta was on point, as well as the fried calamari.

This is our favorite restaurant in Winnetka. Greek food with a creative bent. The service is always excellent. The atmosphere is upscale Greek. The food is consistently good. I enjoy the variety of wines. There is something for everyone and everyone feels welcome.

Authentic greek food, at descent prices

The atmosphere was nice...The service was very slow and when our dinner finally arrived it was warm and not hot. Food quality was good. This is a decent Greek restaurant however I have had much better.

Only had a couple of appetizers but both were delish.

Delicious and very accommodating for gluten free eaters

Came for a meal after flying in for the holiday. What a treat! I had the stuffed tomatoes (sorry... I cannot remember the Greek name) which were just fantastic as my main course. I especially appreciated the rice the tomatoes were stuffed with. As a started try the grilled artichoke. You will not be disappointed. On top of great food... the service was great. Just the best way to start the holiday festival.

Casual setting with plenty of offerings of meat, fish, and vegetarian to suit all tastes. Big draft beer menu, but they tap was broken the night we were there. I had a bottled Greek beer that was pretty good.

Some of the best Greek food that you can find in the area (Northbrook, Wilmette, Deerfield). Lots of great dishes and good variety. We have tried the gyros, vegetarian plates, fish and a couple of the appetizers. Everything has been great.
